I took a quick look at the search engines in the forum category above this... What a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to avoid looking at the real evidence! Energies, channeling, ghosts, reiki...I mean, those search engines have everything, or so it would appear. And that is the danger. Unless you know what is missing, you might think these were very informative search engines, but they have a blind spot you could drive a truck through when it comes to research.
I know there are some here who think my apparent obsession with research is overboard, but the topics covered by these engines, if taken seriously, are among the more important topics that could ever be examined. And what do we get in those search engines? Site after site of anecdotal worthless junk, masquerading as information. It would be so easy for them to include the research...but that would kind of make the rest of their pages out to be the fiction that they are. quackwatch Here, try a site with some actual information. |

Yeah, I understand what you're saying. And are you saying my site is any less "fictional?" That would certainly be news!
The main reason why those links are here was so I could list my site with theirs, which typically requires a reciprocal link. I just thought it would be nice to have a little diversity of opinion around here, and this is one way to do it. In fact there's no reason why I can't "balance" it out with a site like yours. Thanks for the suggestion! ... albeit it is a pain in the butt to do this though.

Actually, I think that yours is indeed as fictional, but it does not pretend to be complete. It might be a good place to get some info on Swedenborg or on your own philosophy, but I don't think anyone would think it would contain all the information one would need on Swedenborg or mysticism (though, of course, for your own philosophy, it would be a primary source). |
