There was an image of the ruby slippers that had a function that enabled them to tap together three times. It was the image of Dorothy (the lower part of Dorothy shown wearing the shoes). She's wearing blue stockings. For some reason, when I viewed it again, the function has been disabled. It must be an omen. Just kidding!

Hey, have you seen this? It all has something to do with Kansas, the 34th state, the Wizard of Oz and my 34th birthday. Talk about synchronicity! This is also one reason why I've chosen Dennis34 for my username in the other forums by the way.

I'd almost forgotten about it but it came back to me when I read it again. By the way, this also reminds me of the Elton John song "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road."

Yeah, I bought that album way back when in 1974, not too long after it came out.

By the way, I've created an archival forum, so if you click here ... http://www.dionysus.org/archive/ ... that should get you there. Of course this is only preliminary and I have a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up (mostly in reference to the old forum address) but I have demonstrated that it can be done. So at some point I should be able to copy it onto a CD in case anyone wants a copy? Heck, maybe I'll even put a copy of my book onto it was well? If anyone's interested let me know, okay? It will probably take a couple of weeks though, before I can finalize the whole thing.

It appears that Elton John must have an interest in Dionysus. I found a website that tells about selling the contents of his house in London and it mentioned a bronze of Dionysus from the dining room. Scroll down to "Sotheby's" under "Dining Room":
